Bookeeper

AIVF is looking to for a bookkeeper to join our finance team. This is a great opportunity to evolve and grow in the bookkeeping world and help us build the accounting and finance infrastructures.
Job Description
- Work in a dynamic and evolving environment with the need to build new processes.
- Manage AP balances including processing vendor invoices, maintaining approval flow and payments.
- Monthly closing of balance sheets including recording JEs
- Reconcile banks, vendors, and credit cards
- Manage the Company’s credit cards
- Financial reporting to social security and tax authorities (VAT, Income tax, etc.)
- Managing accruals and prepaid monthly expenses
- Maintain the Fixed Assets ledger
- Process travel & expenses reports and maintain approval flow
- Assist and design month-end procedures
- Establish processes for vendor payments and Account receivable
- Assist with external audits
Requirements
- Certified bookkeeper (Minimum level 2. Type 3 is an advantage)
- 3+ years of experience in a similar position
- Payroll certification- an advantage
- Proactive attitude and self driven
- Experience with tax compliance (including VAT, Nikuim, Odfot, etc.)
- Written and verbal communication skills in English and Hebrew
- High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particular emphasis on Excel
- Experience with Priority – Must
- Experience with implementation of accounting tools and processes – an advantage
- Experience in a startup company – an advantage
