AIVF is looking to for a bookkeeper to join our finance team. This is a great opportunity to evolve and grow in the bookkeeping world and help us build the accounting and finance infrastructures.

Job Description

  1. Work in a dynamic and evolving environment with the need to build new processes.
  2. Manage AP balances including processing vendor invoices, maintaining approval flow and payments.
  3. Monthly closing of balance sheets including recording JEs
  4. Reconcile banks, vendors, and credit cards
  5. Manage the Company’s credit cards
  6. Financial reporting to social security and tax authorities (VAT, Income tax, etc.)
  7. Managing accruals and prepaid monthly expenses
  8. Maintain the Fixed Assets ledger
  9. Process travel & expenses reports and maintain approval flow
  10. Assist and design month-end procedures
  11. Establish processes for vendor payments and Account receivable
  12. Assist with external audits


  • Certified bookkeeper (Minimum level 2. Type 3 is an advantage)
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar position
  • Payroll certification- an advantage
  • Proactive attitude and self driven
  • Experience with tax compliance (including VAT, Nikuim, Odfot, etc.)
  • Written and verbal communication skills in English and Hebrew
  • High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particular emphasis on Excel
  • Experience with Priority – Must
  • Experience with implementation of accounting tools and processes – an advantage
  • Experience in a startup company – an advantage
